Nick Buroker teaches band and music courses at Hutchinson High School and has been a member of the music department since 2022. During the school day he sees three curricular bands: the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band. He also co-teaches two music theory courses. Outside of the school day he directs the Hutchinson Marching Tigers, the pep band, jazz bands, and the pit orchestra for the musical.
Originally from La Crosse, WI, Mr. Buroker is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music education and Spanish, and Bowling Green State University, where he earned a Master of Music degree in horn performance. Prior to accepting the position at Hutchinson High School, he held a position teaching instrumental music at Waconia Middle School during the 2021-22 school year.
Outside of the music world, Mr. Buroker enjoys road biking, spending time with friends and family, reading, and PC gaming.
