The marching band is named the Hutchinson Marching Tigers, and is open to all students in 8th-12th grade. The Marching Tigers rehearse briefly in the spring and early summer for performances on Memorial Day and at the Hutchinson Jaycees Water Carnival Parade, however most of the season is in the following fall. In August, they learn their show for performances in September and October, both in competitions throughout Minnesota and during halftime at home football games.
